what to expect from your most exciting session yet

CONGRATULATIONS! You are nearing the end of your high school experience and are on to the next chapter. Let me help you capture some of the things that mean the most to you- prom dresses, sports, art, reading, any hobbies you love. Follow this guide to make the most of your special experience.

Adding a second session to utilize the different seasons can be done. Please contact me to discuss pricing.

Before your session


  1. Plan your locations- we can work together to plan the locations. If you play soccer, maybe you want to check out your high school soccer field. Are you an artist? Maybe you want to find a special spot that has inspired you. Fishing- do you have a favorite spot?
  2. Alright, you have your locations picked. Now on to the outfits! Find your outfits for the locations. The less busy they are the better they will photograph. I have a portable changing station that I will bring for the session.
  3. Book your hair, make up, and nail appointments. You will want to feel your most beautiful the day of the session. If you are getting color- I recommend a few day before to make sure you love it.
  4. Have your clothing items hanging! This will prevent wrinkles.
  5. Get a team together for the session- I recommend two people. They will be able to carry your clothes and accessories, fix your hair, and tell you how amazing you look. Find your friends or family that bring out the best version of you!
  6. Gather what is sentimental to you. Maybe a quilt your grandma made, your varsity letters, or paint brushes. Bring what makes you YOU!
  7. Be sure to use the restroom right before your session.
  8. Make sure you leave your keys, phone, etc in the car. You will want your pockets empty for the session.
  9. If you wear glasses consider wearing contacts. The lenses will cause a glare.
  10. Visit the tanning salon or use a self tanner if you prefer yourself tan in photos.
  11. Practice your smiles and your serious faces. We will will be using both A LOT!
  12. Trim your facial hair.

This session is about you. Your parents booked this because they know your amazing personality and want to capture who you are right now.

Listen to my directions. This will help us flow through the session easily and we will have more time in other spots.

Make sure the team you have put together really brings out the best in you- when they tell you that you look beautiful, believe them!

A parent is required to be present if you are under 18.

After your session


Time for you to relax. I will post a sneak peek for you on Instagram and Facebook. In about two weeks your edited images will be sent to you in an online gallery. You will have two options from here.

  1. Work with me to receive top quality prints and personalized memories. We will meet for coffee to pick what your favorites are and plan what you would like to order. I will provide a quote for you after our meeting.
  2. Print from a printing site of your choice- print quality will be lower and colors may be different than the gallery I send you but I do give you the options of downloading your gallery to do this.
